Did you know that Statistics show that newly qualified drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their driving test than at any other time during their driving career. Statisics show that in the first year of driving, one driver in five is involved in an accident. This is where we can help you with Pass Plus.

What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a training course specifically aimed at newly qualified drivers, designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge, it will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to become more confident on the roads. An added benefit of Pass Plus is that various insurance companies offer discounts to drivers who have successfully passed the course.

What is involved?

The Pass Plus course is not a test. The course will be covered in a mimimum of 6 hours.

The following topics are covered in the Pass Plus course.

• Driving in Town

Learn to deal with complicated junctions and traffic systems.

• Driving in all Weathers

Learn to deal with Rain, Snow, Ice and Fog.

• Driving on Rural Roads

Learn to deal with Farm Vehicles, Animals and Sharp Bends.

• Driving at Night

Learn to judge Distances, Deal with Dazzle from other cars and dealing with your lights.

• Driving on Dual Carriageways and Motorways

Learn to drive on high speed roads where anticipation, observation and concentration are a must.
