HGV Lessons 

As a family run Driving School we pride ourselves on having instructors with many years practical & instructional experience, this means that at Ray Butler Driving School you will get all the help and guidance you will need to pass your test. HGV Intensive courses can be completed anywhere in the country. Our Instructors will come to you. To register for a 20hr Course (including test) at £600.00 inclusive of VAT contact us

Before you are able to start your driving course you must do as follows
1	Obtain application form  D2  also in this pack  will be  a medical form D4 take this along  to G.P.  for medical  (A  small  fee  is  involved)
2	Then send application form and medical report off together to the DVLA

You will normally get your licence back within 3-4 weeks. Whilst you are waiting for your provisional license to be returned you can start to study for your theory and hazard perception tests.

When your licence arrives back from the DVLA you should book your theory test on 08700 101372, and let the school of your choice, Ray Butler Driving School know when your test is arranged for.

We can then start to work on a schedule with you, working around your everyday commitments 

Your course will be approximately 20 hours; this time will include your test. The 20 hours is normally worked out over a 5 day period with your test on the last day of the course.

On booking your course with us you will need to pay a deposit, this will be the price of the test (None refundable if you cancel).  The remainder of your fees will be required at the start of your lessons.

We do a non profit/ non interest scheme for those who want to change career but have other commitments, Please ask for details.

Everyday of the course you will start by checking the vehicle for roadworthiness. You will then move onto manuvers and then the driving. This is so you don’t forget anything that we have gone through before the big day.
